About ICO

ICO is a leader in the corrugated cardboard packaging market in Southern Italy. Founded in 1952, the company has grown organically through vertical integration and investments in new plants.

In fact, being a fully integrated corrugated packaging supplier is a key competitive advantage of ICO. With one paper mill, two corrugators, and three converting facilities, ICO can manufacture tailor-made products in a few hours, in the most efficient way, and in line with local waste recycling procedures.

With the needs of its customer base in mind, ICO’s current strategy is to target the market for short-run, high-quality-printed corrugated boxes in order to complete its product portfolio and to improve its packaging conversion efficiency. That’s why, in 2018-2019, the company invested in the one-of-kind BP Agnati Quantum2 corrugator, the HP PageWide C500 Digital Press, and a vertical warehouse.

Additionally, having digitized many processes, today ICO can supply its customers with any kind of flute, from the traditional to the extra-thin. The company guarantees perfect printability thanks to its extra flat sheet production capability; and it can supply high-definition printed boxes and sheets in any production batch, through the combination of digital and flexo printing technology.
